Out of Range and Out on the Ranges

Hello to all. I've been out of range for awhile, but am alive and well and currently in the semi-industrial city of Trabzon, perched on the edge of the Black Sea region of northeastern Turkey, mostly just a requisite stop after traipsing first around Cappadocia (Central Anatolia) then the Kachkar Mountains (Black Sea) with my dear friend Danielle for the past few days. (She joined me soon after my Turkish course finished, and will be with me here through the rest of my time here, which is going quickly). I'll be back in northern California by the 1st of September, but in the meantime will try to post more, and pictures, in the upcoming days on what amounted to a series of unforgettable days and experiences, natural beauty and human enconters.
